Part 3 of the lodge project, and install day is finally here!

The concrete base was laid last week and is all dry, ready for the lodge to be installed atop. It’s all set with the minimal amount of animal tracks going across it (mostly just one set from Loki, the cat).

A team of two turned up at around 8am to get started. They began with the foundation and before I left for work already had the base down and three sides on.

A text message from  home a few hours later and it was all done, and got to come home to find a fully built lodge, and mum already starting on the outside.

A few hours later and I had the osmo oil down on the floor and the first coat was already applied to the outside.
