Early in 2011 I was asked (As a favour) to handle some photography for a friend’s Wedding. I worked with Matthew (the groom) during his time at Royal Holloway and we quickly bonded over our passion for Photography. Even though I had previously been loathed to have anything to do with Wedding Photography, Matthew insisted that I [...]

After the success of the ‘Hug a Husky’ Portraiture at Berkshire County Fair, 2010, Jayne and the Karluk Huskies very kindly invited me back to their next event at the UK Wolf Conservation Trust in Beenham, Reading. This is a key event for the Karluk Huskies on their mission to raise awareness for Huskies in Need, and I was honoured to be invited back to such an amazing location with the team.

After Dark Productions – The Sofa

My first official job as a photographer was with a movie production company based in North London called After Dark Productions. I originally landed this job as I knew one of the two directors, and he was keen to have a photographer on site. The shoot was in March, for an entry into the Doritos Ad Competition.

After the first shoot, the feedback I received was nothing but exceptional. Dominik Danielewicz and Dario Attanasio of After Dark Productions very kindly invited me back again for their next production ‘The Sofa’, and what an experience it was!

In May, I was fortunate enough to visit the UK Wolf Conservation Trust on an open day. While you would expect to find wolves at the wolf trust, what I did not expect to find was eight Siberian Huskies. These huskies were part of the Karluk Siberian Huskies, and with their owner; Jayne, they were at the Wolf Trust promoting Huskies in Need, and providing an attracting called ‘Hug a Husky’. I spent a good hour in an enclosure with the dogs, and managed to snap some beautiful photos of the majestic animals. Little did I know that I soon would be getting to know them all pretty well.
