Upcoming Shoot: Kretzinger’s Waltz

This weekend, I will be working on the set of Kretzinger’s Waltz, with film company Kinetic Energy Films. Director and Producer Jon Pitt (1st AD for ‘The Sofa’ by Dominik Danielewicz) approached me last month to work with him and the crew on this production.

Jon will be joined by his associate producer and fellow director; Ben Wiles (Kinetic Energy Films), with Dominik Danielewicz (After Dark Productions) as 1st Assistant Director, and Dario Attanasio (After Dark Productions) as Script Supervisor.

“Kretzinger’s Waltz” follows through the meetings of a psychologist and his patient. Dr Kretzinger is a sufferer of depression and low self-esteem, while his patient, Daniel, slowly develops dementia. Throughout the movie, they explore the avenues of helping each other, and use each other to overcome their problems.

I look forward to working with the experienced and talented cast and crew of this production.

After Dark Productions – The Sofa

My first official job as a photographer was with a movie production company based in North London called After Dark Productions. I originally landed this job as I knew one of the two directors, and he was keen to have a photographer on site. The shoot was in March, for an entry into the Doritos Ad Competition.

After the first shoot, the feedback I received was nothing but exceptional. Dominik Danielewicz and Dario Attanasio of After Dark Productions very kindly invited me back again for their next production ‘The Sofa’, and what an experience it was!

It is important for me to thank everyone in After Dark Productions. Without them, Alopex Productions would not exist, and I would not be the photographer I am today. Their custom got this business going, and gave it a reason for existing. I owe both Dario and Dominik a great deal.

The Sofa’ is a new,dark comedy short film written by Dominik Danielewicz and directed by himself and his production partner, Dario Attanasio – produced under their award winning film production company – After Dark Productions Ltd.
A young man’s obsession with sofas might have gone too far…

After Dark Productions – Furry Mayhem

Shortly after the Easter break, I was privileged to work with Dominik Danielewicz and Dario Attanasio of After Dark Productions on the production of an advertisement for the Doritos ‘Design and Advert’ competition.

It was an honour to work with both the producers, and with all the crew. While I was only initially on set as a photographer, I was also asked to help out with the production (as crew), and even had a small role as an extra in the production.

The entry was submitted two weeks ago, and has since appeared on YouTube.

A big thank you to After Dark Productions for letting me become a part of this production, and a huge thank you to all the cast and crew for putting up with all the photographs.
